TSFL / Medifast Weight Loss Program  TakeShapeForLife_logo

With the birth of my son and the “death” of my thyroid, I gained quite a bit of weight.  After much work, I have lost 25 pounds.  I can’t quite celebrate yet as I have another 40 to go.  Tripp and I started on a weight management program that is working very well for us.  As extremely busy people we needed something that was super easy.  Even before my pregnancy, I was looking for the right program to offer my patients – one that promoted healthy eating, that had no gimmicks, that was affordable, and that worked.  I am proud to tell you about Take Shape for Life featuring the Medifast Program.

It is a complete lifestyle program featuring great tasting meal replacements combined with the education and support of our team.  My staff and I have been evaluating this program and have already started helping patients lose weight, while teaching them how to keep the weight off for good.   Our first two clients lost 35 and 25 pounds in their first month. Because it is so easy and because of the success we have seen so far, we have decided to make this program available to all of our patients.

We are hosting a free tasting of Medifast meals and explaining the program this Thursday, August 20th from 5:30 to 7:00 at our office.  You can bring friends or family members.  They do not have to be a patient to benefit from the program.   If you can’t make it, join us any Tuesday from 4 to 5 pm or learn more at our website at www.vailsfp.com/weight-loss.

What else is new?

First, I am grateful to have accepted the Sacramento Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award.  This is a distinct honor and I am glad to be counted among the women movers and shakers in our community.

As a reminder:

Cash Pay Patients and $40 Office Visits

Economic times are tough for all us.  Some of you may be facing a loss of your medical insurance.  Our typical cash pay office visit ranges from $100 to $250.  During this economic downturn and for limited medical issues, we will reduce the cost to as low as $40.00.  To qualify (and to satisify the lawyers) you must not have insurance coverage at the time of your visit and will need to complete a financial need form in our office.  We do not verify your income.  This is an honor system.  If you can pay more, great.  If not, that’s ok too.  You simply must pay the fee at the time of your visit.

We extend this offer to new patients as well.   Tell someone you know who needs this option.  Ideally they should sign up to be a patient before they have an urgent need to be seen.
