The Difference is Time – that’s our motto, and after six months of semi-maternity leave, I am pleased to announce my full-time return to the practice of taking care of you and your families. In anticipation, I wanted to send each of you a personal Thank You! and an invitation to our Grand Reopening!!
As many of you are aware, I had a beautiful baby boy, Luca Quinn, this last October and have been spending extra time at home with him. Since then some of you have been kind enough to meet with my incredible physician assistants, Irina and Mayra, and others of you have waited longer than usual just to see me. Either way, I am grateful to those of you who have chosen to remain our patients while I bonded with my son. We know that some families have chosen to move to other providers, and that is OK. I want to extend a warm welcome back if you choose to return.
While I have been out, I have taken some time to reflect on our foundation, our purpose, and the many services we strive to bring to you, our patients. After nearly six years in our founding location and with three providers, it was clear we needed more room. We have moved – next door!
The new location is bigger and better in many ways. We have new separate pediatric and adult exam suites with five adult exam rooms, six pediatric exam rooms, a quiet breastfeeding & education room, the most amazing pediatric waiting room and two bathrooms. I’m so excited and proud of the new location that we are having a Grand Reopening. Please join us on Saturday, June 7th from 11 to 4 pm to celebrate. This is an opportunity for you to meet the new staff, tour the new medical suites, and bring a friend who might be interested in a new medical home. We are accepting new patients. Dora and Diego will be joining us and Jamba Juice will be on hand. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of Jamba Juice will go to benefit Project LIFT and House of Hope – both projects of Chicks in Crisis, a local organization. To learn more, visit ChicksInCrisis.org. We’ll have a jump house, hot dogs and all around good fun. We really hope you can make it and invite a family you know. Remember we grew from just one patient and your referrals will allow us to thrive during tough economic times.
If you can’t make it or you’d like to refer a friend who cannot come, check out our new website at www.VailsFP.com. It is really amazing with lots of links to reliable websites and some of our favorite handouts. You can view pictures of the super cute babies we delivered the prior month.
At Vails Family Practice, our whole purpose is to take care of you – to provide comprehensive, personal health care to you and your families. Our purpose will not change as we grow. I’ll miss our little office, but I am excited as I look forward into the future.
I am grateful to continue to care for you and your families.
Sincerely,
Julie Vails, MD
